The 21st Century : An Update.
When I first found this old website on an archive CD my first thoughts were to revamp it in modern style as in it’s original form the once flashy scripts no longer worked.
In the end I decided to remove the non-working sections, add in simple page turning buttons at the bottom of each page and leave it in it’s original appearance as a time capsule of how things used to be back in the 90s.
So what happened next ?
Well, I took early retirement in 2003 because plainly it just wasn’t practical to go out every day to work when I had so many hobbies that needed my attention.
ICI will just have to manage without me, I’m sure they will.....
That lass from back in the 70s is still here and handing out tea, plasters and sympathy when my toys break.
I will create a more modern website at some point about these cars and the trials, tribulations and skills you learn while trying to keep a 40yr old car on modern roads.
But until then, rest assured that UAB807F, HTU35K and B2HBM are all in full health and looking better than ever.
(or maybe old eyesight and the rose tinted spectacles are taking over)
